Friends of cannabis ... aloha.
I just purchased a terrific, new book about our favorite herb. It's called 'CANNABIS' by author Jonathon Green of the U.K. ISBN no. 1-56025-476-9. $25. US.
The first things that catch my eye as I flip through it before reading is the art. Wow! The drawings, oils, photos, engravings and more are really entertaining and enlightening to me. I want to see more of them and more cannabis artwork.
This is a call to all the artists out there in ganja-world, please create some more cannabis art! Oil paintings on hemp canvas would be MOST appropriate, for instance. Hempseed oil paints can be had (I'm told) from Europe. Possibly a search on Google would access a good supplier of the top-of-the-line materials.
Can you imagine? Newly-created hemp and cannabis artwork done with hempseed oil paints on hemp fabric canvas! I can well imagine as our ministry evolves and grows, and the whole movement develops worldwide, that the interest for cannabis artwork will rise dramatically. The art can lead the way of the mind and the emotions.
I want to put the word out: I'm interested in such art work for our THC Ministry. Are you interested in this? Can I commission these paintings from you?
For instance:
I would like to see a photo and especially a painting of the ideal home cannabis garden (closet size - apartment size - garden size - farm size, etc.)
a cannabis commune - the ideal hippie co-op
a new version 'drug store' stocked with cannabis and hemp remedies and other herbs
gorgeous females in the garden with gorgeous cannabis females - illustrating the pulling of the male plants from the garden before pollination to make sin-semilla ('without seeds')
Spiritual themes; Moses with the burning cannabis bush, anointing oil ceremony with kanabos holy oil,
Jesus anointing the sick with cannabis oil
the 'Green Letter Bible' in pictures
a harvest-time cannabis trimming party
a 'greenhouse chapel' for the THC Ministry -
You get the idea, I'm sure. What do you say?
If you would like to donate a piece of cannabis art to the THC Ministry, we all would appreciate it, I'm sure. We will help to make it famous and make prints, fabric art, photos and post cards, etc. Proceeds could be split among the artist and the ministry for mutual satisfaction.
